In Her Emptiness

                                                 There is something profound in
how she navigates her space,
not fully here, not entirely gone.

The boundaries are blurred
like ink drops in water—between
present and absent, alone and
protected.

In her emptiness is fullness.
In her solitude are multitudes.
In her releasing a pas de deux
with freedom.

She muses on our humanness
as causal participants in this
quantum of beingness— the rustle
of ages whispering within us.

Her eyes hold tales from the
depths where shadows reign.
